Events Schedule — 2012

Balloons are brought in from across the Rocky Mountain Region and beyond to fly at our special event. If you would like to become a part of the Casper Balloon Roundup and volunteer for a position, please contact the Events Coordinator Niki Crabb at 307-265-0200 or email .

The 8th Annual RE/MAX The Group Casper Balloon Roundup presented by Townsquare Media and The Parkway Plaza will be held in Casper on July 27th, 28th & July 29th Approximately 20 hot air balloons from around the region will be joining us for this large two day event. All events will be held at the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds.

We invite everyone to come and witness the very first form of flight. Parking is available throughout the fairgrounds parking lot and side streets

Parkway Plaza
  • SATURDAY, July 28th:

        • FREE Mass Launch - 6:00am
        • “Candles in the night”- 8:00pm – Launch Field (Not available this year)
          • Presented by The Parkway Plaza. All of the pilots will place their baskets on the field and ignite their burners for a show you won’t want to miss. This is also a great opportunity to meet and talk to all of the pilots! Plus, if Mother Nature cooperates, there is a chance a few of the pilots will blow up their balloon for a glow.

  • SUNDAY, July 29th:

        • Kid’s Day Presented by Pepsi
        • 6:00AM - Mass Launch
        • 6:30AM - 7:30AM - The famous RE/MAX Balloon will stay at “Central Wyoming Fairgrounds” and give free tethered balloon rides to children Ages 5-12.
