Balloons are brought in from across the Rocky Mountain Region and beyond to fly at our special event. If you would like to become a part of the Casper Balloon Roundup and volunteer for a position, please download the volunteer form.

Events will be posted here as they become available. Check back often for periodic updates. All events weather permitting;— Schedule is subject to change.

The 7th Annual RE/MAX The Group Casper Balloon Roundup presented by Townsquare Media and The Parkway Plaza will be held in Casper on July 23rd & July 24th Approximately 20 hot air balloons from around the region will be joining us for this large two day event. This year will feature a Special shape balloon Jack-N-The Box, who is three times the size of your average Hot Air Balloon. All events will be held at the “Balloon Fest Park” located at the Murane Playing Fields at Casper College.

We invite everyone to come and witness the very first form of flight. Handicapped parking will be available. Other parking is available around the Casper College, Murane Playing Fields, Mike Sedar Park, and other side street areas.

Parkway Plaza
  • SATURDAY, July 23rd:

        • FREE Mass Launch - 6:00am
        • “Candles in the night”- 8:00pm – Launch Field
          • Presented by The Parkway Plaza. All of the pilots will place their baskets on the field and ignite their burners for a show you won’t want to miss. This is also a great opportunity to meet and talk to all of the pilots! Plus, if Mother Nature cooperates, there is a chance a few of the pilots will blow up their balloon for a glow.

  • SUNDAY, July 24th:

        • Kid’s Day Presented by Pepsi
        • 6:00AM - Mass Launch
        • 6:30AM - 7:30AM - The famous RE/MAX Balloon will stay at “Balloon Fest Park” and give free tethered balloon rides to children Ages 5-12.

On Saturday evening beginning at approximately 8:00pm there will be a special “Candles in the Night” event, presented by The Parkway Plaza.
